VARISAN TOP Class 1 compression stockings are indicated for varicose veins, varicose veins during pregnancy, early-stage edema, and phlebitis. They are classified as light-compression stockings. Custom-made options are available based on the patient’s measurements. The compression gradient is perfectly aligned with that of the circulatory system, providing 100% of the desired compression at the ankle, 70% at the calf, and 40% at the thigh. They are certified by the German RAL Institute. Indicated Conditions:

Acute subcutaneous conditions, skin infections, peripheral arterial disease with an ankle-brachial index below 0.7 or a peripheral blood pressure below 80 mm Hg, allergy to rubber products. Measurements:To determine the size, measure the circumference of the ankle at the bone, the circumference of the calf at its thickest point, the circumference of the thigh at its thickest point (approximately 4 fingers below the groin) and the height from the heel to the groin. Measurements should be taken in the morning (when the feet are not swollen), with the patient standing upright and wearing no other socks. The length measurement should be taken from the back of the body.
