Areas of application:
The hydrophilic properties of octenisan® md nasal gel ensure effective hydration of the nasal buds.
Hydration promotes and establishes a normal environment in the nasal cavity that prevents staphylococcal (including MRSA) colonisation and proliferation.
In addition, the restoration of normal protection and cleaning functions contributes to the effective disinfection of e.g. particles, skin debris and multi-resistant pathogens. Also, octenisan® md nasal provides moisture to the irritated skin under the nasal opening is provided and thus can heal better.
Epithelial cells must be able to proliferate and migrate for the healing process.
This is best possible in a moist wound environment.

Effective against MRSA staphylococcus ⁄ MDRO

Dosage and method of use:
Unless otherwise specified, apply a sufficient amount of Schulke’s Octenisan Nasal Gel with a cotton swab to the anterior nasal area twice daily.
Avoid direct contact with the opening of the tube to prevent microbial contamination.
