MAGNESIUM MALATE 1000 MG VEGETARIAN TABLETS
Magnesium is a mineral critical for energy production, metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve transmission and bone mineralization. It is a required cofactor for 300 enzyme systems. Among the reactions catalysed by these enzymes are the synthesis of fatty acids and proteins and glucose metabolism.

Malic acid (malate acid) is a natural organic acid found in certain fruits and vegetables, particularly green apples. It is an important intermediate in the Krebs cycle, both in aerobic and anaerobic activities. More specifically, it is an essential molecule in the production of energy in cells, derived from carbohydrates.

Magnesium malate, as a combination of magnesium and malic acid, can provide benefits for proper heart function and chronic fatigue syndrome.

In addition, magnesium malate has the ability to chemically complex other metals with particular effectiveness on toxic metals. Aluminum, for example, the most abundant metal in the Earth’s crust, can – in high concentrations – cause serious damage to the central nervous system, memory loss and dementia. Magnesium malate can combine with these metals and make them inert.
