Arginine is a non-essential amino acid, although many researchers consider it “conditionally essential”.
This separation occurs because the body is unable to produce sufficient amounts of arginine during periods of rapid growth, trauma and stress.
It is found in foods such as dairy products, meat, poultry, fish and nuts, but is generally present in low levels in fruits and vegetables.
The body uses arginine to produce NO (nitric oxide), a substance with vasodilator action.
Each tablet provides 500mg of free form Arginine for maximum absorption and bioavailability.
