NOW Foods’ Water Out™ formula recommends a blend of herbs, potassium and vitamin B-6, all of which support urinary tract health. More specifically:

Arctostaphylos strengthens and stimulates the urinary tract. Its diuretic action is due to the glycoside arbutin. During excretion, arbutin exerts an antiseptic effect on the mucous membrane of the urinary tract.
Dandelion, by stimulating the urination process, helps the natural detoxification processes by removing waste substances. It also aids in the treatment of chronic hepatitis and other liver problems, and contributes to the healing of tissues damaged by liver disease due to alcohol consumption.
Chrysoberg promotes the loss of fluids from the body, and is most commonly used to treat inflammation of the urinary tract, as well as to prevent the development of kidney stones. Goldenseal contains saponins with strong anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties and flavonoids with antioxidant properties.
Juniper is a tonic plant, suitable for the stomach. It promotes urination, significantly increasing its frequency. It also helps to lower blood pressure and eliminate sodium and toxins such as uric acid from the body.
