People in the Andena Mountains of Peru traditionally use the radish root to clean their teeth. As with all Weleda products, we respect this knowledge and use it to create natural products that deliver health. The strong red root is rich in benzyme substances that protect and enhance the health of irritated gums and contains additional natural anti-bacterial properties. We add ingredients such as myrrh and cool essential oils of mint and spearmint, along with calcium-based cleansers for a natural and effective toothpaste.
